A brick worker died when his leg was ripped off by a factory machine just two days after he filmed a safety video warning workmates how to use it safely.

Huseyin Pirincci, from Afyonkarahisar, a city in western Turkey, posted the footage on social media, warning people against pushing two buttons on a machine he regularly used at the factory.

He can be heard saying: “Friends, you see these buttons, right? When you press them, they will take your head off.”

But just two days later, on 12th September, Huseyin suffered a tragic accident with the very same machine at the brick factory in the town of Isiklar.

The machine reportedly took one of his legs off and he died while being treated in hospital.

Investigators took statements from 20 people at the brick factory and made two arrests. There have been no details about who was arrested and what for.

It is also currently unclear what type of machine it was exactly.

Huseyin was buried in a cemetery in the village of Karaaslan.

The investigation is ongoing.
