A biker blogger planning to wed his motorcycle-mad fiancee has died after hitting a dog in bizarre crash.
Influencer Burak Can Tas, 23, was hurled off his bike in the smash on Kozan Street, in the Remzi Oguz Arık Neighbourhood, in the Saricam district of Adana in Turkey, and died later in hospital of multiple injuries, reported local media.
He was just weeks away from marrying fellow biking enthusiast Yaren Kara after the couple announced their engagement on 3rd July.
Tas told his 85,000 social media followers how his romance had changed his life.
In a touching post to his fiancee, he wrote: “The year 2022 orchestrated its last surprise, leading me to you.
“Until now, I didn’t understand the concept of love or being loved.
“That, I learned from you, my love.
“I’m thankful for the continual nourishment of my inner goodness and for never letting go of my hands.
“I am prepared to journey with you until life’s end.”
Tas was an enthusiastic motorcyclist. His motorcycling exploits were frequently shared with his followers, showcasing his passion for bikes.
It was not revealed if the dog survived the collision.
