Six fairgoers were injured when the swing ride they were on sent them hurtling face-first into a tree.
As the ride spins around during its descent, the people on it are repeatedly slammed into branches.
Meanwhile, family and friends of the thrill seekers can be heard gasping in shock as they look on unable to do anything.
The incident was caught on camera as it unfolded in Buca in Izmir Province, Turkey, around 11pm on 2nd August.
According to reports, the ride should have easily cleared the nearby tree, and only hit it because of a malfunction.
Local media said people on the ride at the time experienced moments of panic as they were propelled into the shrub.
Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene and took six people to nearby hospitals to be treated for minor injuries.
At the time of reporting, some of the injured had already been discharged.
The authorities are reported to be investigating the incident.
