A breast enlargement surgery went badly wrong when stunning Nur Acikel went from the clinic to the A&E ward after allegedly being beaten by the doctor that was supposed to carry out her surgery.
The model, aged 27, was with her influencer sister Yeliz Acikel, 25, and they were waiting to be taken into surgery for a breast augmentation operation in Bayrampasa, which is a suburban district of Istanbul, in Turkey, on the European side of the city.
But the two women did not like the doctor’s attitude when they were asking questions, and a row resulted in which they alleged they were attacked by plastic surgeon Dr Taha Sonmez and his assistant.
The two later went to the police to file a complaint, where they alleged the medic and his assistant had come to Nur Acikel ‘s room when she was dressed in a surgical gown ready for the op.
Apparently, the younger sister Yeliz had not liked the doctor’s attitude, and the row had begun when she challenged him over his alleged rudeness.
The pair say that the doctor, first of all, attacked Yeliz, and after that, Nur got involved in protecting her sister and was also beaten.
Nur said she ended up being knocked to the floor in the attack, suffering injuries to her head and arms, and at the same time, her sister was attacked by the doctor’s assistant.
It was only when other medical staff intervened that the violence ended, and the two sisters claimed that when they tried to record the attack, the doctor’s assistant took their phone and threw it onto the ground.
An investigation into the incident that happened on 3rd April and has only been made public now has been started.
