This is the moment a woman biker is run over by a boat.
The shocking footage shows how the woman biker was dragged down a busy street by the boat that was being towed on a trailer after the car in front of her came to an abrupt stop and she hit it before falling off her motorcycle.
The incident took place in the Adapazari district of Sakarya province in north-western Turkey, on the Black Sea coast.
The CCTV footage shows the female biker failing to stop after the white car in front of her comes to an abrupt halt at a pedestrian crossing to allow walkers to cross the road, with her going straight into the back of it.
The unnamed biker then topples over just as a vehicle towing a speedboat is driving by, with her then seen being caught up under the trailer’s wheels and dragged off down the street.
An ambulance was called to the scene and after being provided with first aid, she was taken to hospital.
Local business owner Bayram Budak told local media: “There is fast-flowing traffic here.
“There is a pedestrian crossing, but pedestrians have difficulty in crossing, they have to make moves for it.
“In the meantime, vehicles often brake suddenly.
“Yesterday, a motorcycle coming from behind could not stop and crashed into a vehicle that braked suddenly.
“But the worst part was that the motorcyclist, who was thrown onto the road, was dragged under a trailer carrying a boat, for about 100 metres (328 feet).
“Thankfully, the female motorcyclist was in good condition, with full helmet and equipment. An ambulance and the emergency services came immediately and intervened quickly.
“The biker is in good condition, she has some scrapes. She was discharged and came to us today, thanking us for taking care of her motorcycle.”
